The faculty and staff at this school are highly motivated to help students. There is an outstanding degree of mentoring of new kinesthesia past senior kinesthesia members. There are some members of assistants that genuinely intendance and want to make a difference and see the schoolhouse and faculty members succeed.

    Cons

In that location is 1 Dean that uses fear and intimidation and coerces faculty to piece of work without compensation over the summer months. It is inappropriate for whatever employer, much less a government entity to look its employees to work without compensation.

  11. Former Employee, more iii years

    Pros

The teaching faculty are highly qualified and are very devoted to their students. The faculty frequently become out of their way to aid ensure that students are successful by providing tutoring and mentoring exterior of the classes. There is an splendid set of applied science and library resources available to students and faculty. Likewise at that place is a great collegiality among the faculty and staff.

    Cons

The upper levels of management accept very poor planning and leadership skills. The campus had to make big layoffs in 2011 due to mismanagement of building projects and preventable water impairment to facilities. As a government bureau with roughly eighty% of expenses as salaries -- when there are upkeep over-runs, edifice damage, or project mismanagement - the results are layoffs (not of those mismanaging, but of faculty and staff). Perchance more concerning though is the open door policy of trying to recruit as many students as possible regardless of the potential for success. Each term hundreds of new students are accepted and enrolled in remedial classes being coaxed with "easy complimentary money" of educatee loans. Unfortunately near driblet out with major debt load before even completing a single class which might count toward a degree. A unproblematic way to make up one's mind "educatee success" should be measured by how many students are admitted each term and how many students graduate each term; unfortunately there are few who go far all the mode to graduation.
